During my spring quarter of my second year I took "Introduction to Statistical Methods for Life and Health Sciences" where I was introduced to R and how to code for statistical models. It is a skill I will continue to work on to be prepared to conduct statistical analysis on future experiments. 

I was raised in a Spanish speaking household and I have my seal of biliteracy in Spanish. I am able to talk, read, and write in Spanish in both casual and professional settings.
